Successful Completion of Webinar on Enhancing Memory

A Webinar on Enhancing Memory was organized by B.Com department for students, teachers, alumni, parents of students of Inmantec on 23rd January 2021 at virtual platform Google-meet, by Ms. Deepa Goyal. The workshop focused on developing the cognition, recognition skills of learners, of individual to memorize/remember day today happenings, words learnt. Ms Deepa identified various difficulties faced by the participants and suggested how these can be overcome.
She suggested various short-term exercises in different subjects to retain long-term memory. She focused on creation of lasting memory and correlation of a concept, the learning pyramid and effective use of mnemonics. Another technique was ‘phonetics’and ‘link method’. The resource person gave a variety of examples from the curriculum and suggested techniques of memory enhancement respectively. In the end, Ms.Goyal focused on the foundation of good cognitive skills: to think, read, learn, remember, reason and pay attention, to the information being received. She explained how it should be stored in our memory for later retention.
Prof. Bhawna Garg co-ordinated this webinar with guidance of HOD- Dr. Rakesh Chawla and Principal- Dr. Subodh Kumar. More than 160 students attended this session .
