Dancing is so much more than just grooving on the dance floor to your favourite tunes. It is a way to show your passion, love and lot more. So come and exhibit your definition of Dance with your talent at INMANTEC Dance Competition.
The contest is divided in two rounds. In Round 1st (prelim ) the contestants need to perform and in accordance to that they will either be selected or rejected. In the subsequent phase the selected contestants will be called to the campus on the date of event for another performance for further evaluation for final result. To become eligible for award it is important that a contestant participates in prelim round.
ELIGIBILITY – The contest is open to any student from class 10th onwards till post graduation. Contestant should have a valid student identity card to be eligible for participation.
DATE OF CONTEST – Preliminary Round:4th & 5th April 2019 . The registration for the first phase of the contest is open till April 4th, ’19, 10:30AM (Indian time). Registration post this date will not be valid.
Final round: 6th April (Only for those who will be selected in Preliminary Round).
PRIZE – The top 3 entries will be recognized by INMANTEC through cash awards.
SPECIAL RULES –
1.) Participants must carry their songs in PD or CD (2 copies) on which they want to perform and should submit on the registration desk.
2.) The props should be pre-approved with Ms. Swati Tyagi(Event Coordinator) before performance.

Indians have been constantly involved in learning and appreciating music. To encourage the rhythm, confidence and sparkling young talent of the city, We are providing you a platform in INMANTEC. Come… Sing Along! The idea behind this contest is to give the students a platform, where they can showcase their talent with their voice.
The contest is divided in two phases. Prelim round -a selection round where the selection of the candidates will be done for final round. ALPANA
INMANTEC RANGOLI COMPETITION- 2019

Rangoli is an art form, originated in the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor or the ground using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand and flower petals. It is usually made during Diwali, Onam, Pongal and other Hindu festivals in the Indian subcontinent. Designs are passed from one generation to the next, keeping both the art form and the tradition alive.
The purpose of rangoli is decoration, and it is thought to bring good luck. Design depictions may vary as they reflect traditions, folklore, and practices that are unique to each area. Rangoli designs can be simple geometric shapes, deity impressions, or flower and petal shapes. The base material is usually dry or wet powdered rice or dry flour, to which sindoor (vermilion), haldi (turmeric) and other natural colours can be added. Chemical colors are a modern variation. Other materials include colored sand, red brick powder and even flowers and petals, as in the case of flower rangolis.
As a part of Inter college fest, ULLAS, INMANTEC institution is organising ALPANA- a rangoli competition on April 6, 2019 in the campus. Participants can draw a rangoli in any of the below mentioned themes. It is a team competition; however, the size of team is limited to 4.
ELIGIBILITY – The contest is open to any student from class 10th onwards. Participants have to apply in the form of team. Contestant should have a valid student identity card to be eligible for participation.

INMANTEC FACE PAINTING COMPETITION 2019

Because sheets and walls get too main stream, try your painting skills on the face of your team mate!
Face painting has its roots in ancient history and has been associated with cultural practices and traditions. Face painting has been employed for religious or cultural traditions, hunting, military reasons, theatre, or for artistic purposes. Unlike tattoos which are permanent, face painting is a temporary work that lasts several hours or even days as with the case of henna painted decoration.
Face painting does not have a strong tradition in fine art; however, professional artists and cosmologists ploy their trade for theatre and film productions where there is a strong tradition for face painting. The objective behind this contest is to give the participants a platform, where they can express their inner feelings and imaginations with colours on Face.
ELIGIBILITY – The contest is open to any student from class 10th onwards. Contestant should have a valid student identity card to be eligible for participation.
DATE OF CONTEST – 4th April 2019. The registration will be open till , 10:30 AM on that day.

SPECIFIC RULES – Team event (2 people – the one who will paint and the other whose face will be painted). Artist has to carry their own material. The Artist must work alone. Assistants are not permitted. Artist may not paint themselves. Artists are encouraged to bring their own Participant, who MUST BE REGISTERED with the artist’s application. The Artist has to create a face painting on a person. The design can extend up to the neck. The artist will be expected to deliver a short verbal presentation describing their artwork which includes their creative process that brought him to his final artwork. Only professional grade makeup paints/ effects are to be used for any application to the face. Both airbrush and brush and sponge are allowed. Head pieces are optional, but only the face will be judged.

Drawing is one of the powerful media of communicating your ideas to the world based on perception and interpretation of thoughts. It just takes an instant out of time, and alters life by holding it still. The idea behind this contest is to give the students a platform, where they can show their talent with brush and colour.
ELIGIBILITY: – The contest is open to any student from class 10th onwards. Contestant should have a valid student identity card to be eligible for participation.
DATE OF CONTEST – 4th April 2019. The registration will be open till 10:30 AM on that day. (The entries for the contest can be entertained till 3rd April 2019).

This theme relates with the environment of current generation of children and what challenges they face today like, the overburden of education system, evils of society (like child Labour, violence, poverty and child abuse). A child is the seed of our future, if it is ruined, the future of country is also ruined. So it’s our duty to give a healthy environment and “Let the children play” in a healthy environment.

When you press the shutter button you should be filling your creation with a plethora of elements including emotions, projections, techniques and aesthetics. Photography is one of the powerful media of communicating your idea to the world based on perception and interpretation of thoughts. It just takes an instant out of time, and alters life by holding it still. The idea behind this contest is to give the students a platform, where they can showcase their talent with camera.
The contest is divided in two phases. In Phase I the contestants need to make an online submission of their own images based on the theme. In the subsequent phase the selected contestants will be called to the campus on the date of event to click and submit the images as per the theme to be given on the spot. To become eligible for award it is important that a contestant participates in both the phases.
ELIGIBILITY – The contest is open to any student from class 10th onwards. Contestant should have a valid student identity card to be eligible for participation.
DATE OF CONTEST – Date of the Contest (Phase II) is 4th April 2019. The entries for the first phase of the contest can be submitted till 31st March, 2019 (midnight, Indian time). Entries submitted beyond this time won’t be valid.
PRIZE – The top 2 entries will be recognized by INMANTEC through cash awards. Selected photos along with the photographer’s name will be promoted at INMANTEC website, Face Book official page of INMANTEC, Newsletter and other such media. The Winner will be decided on the basis of respective entries of both the phases.
SPECIAL RULES – For each phase – I and II, a contestant can submit a maximum of three entries. The entries in the first phase need to be submitted through the email id given below. In case of more than three submissions / entries by a participant, the last three entries in order of sending will be considered.. There are two points to note – Only the entries clicked by the contestant themselves are eligible for consideration. Evidence of ownership, place of clicking of the image, EXIF details, Original/RAW file could be asked for in a logically doubtful situation. Any manipulation with the image data would make the entry invalid. For the Phase I the contestant can submit a relevant image clicked earlier but a fresh, unused image will be anytime preferable.
CAMERA – The contestants should come with their own camera and other gear as necessary.
EVALUATION CRITERIA – The decision of the judges will be final and binding and cannot be challenged. Four basic criteria will be used viz. (a) Relevance to theme (b) Effort in capturing the image (c) Overall aesthetics and (d) Technicalities, in no specific order or ratio.
THEME-
Phase I: The theme for this contest is Candid Portrait. Humans are blessed to be born with an ability to express their emotions. Candid photography means capturing those natural expressions and emotions without making your subject conscious of being clicked. Your subject may be your mother, a friend, child or someone utterly unknown to you, but you should essentially capture an unopposed, unprepared moment. To make it simple, just ensure that your subject is not posing for the camera, now whether you get an eye contact or not is up to you or your creativity.
Phase II: The theme and subject will be given On-the-Spot. The contestant need to capture moments related to the theme inside the college campus and within the stipulated time period.

INMANTEC FASHION SHOW COMPETITION 2019

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.
In a typical fashion show, models walk the catwalk dressed in the clothing created by the designer. Clothing is illuminated on the runway using various forms of lighting and special effects. The order in which each model walks out wearing a specific outfit, is usually planned in accordance to the statement that the designer wants to make about their collection. It is then up to the audience to not only try to understand what the designer is trying to say, but to also visually deconstruct each outfit and try to appreciate the detail and craftsmanship of every single piece.
However, at Paridhan, our focus will be on the young one’s who are fashion enthusiasts and confident about themselves. We wish to provide them with a platform and resources to showcase their talents
